"Communication is the essence of speech for the human connection''. There are several modes of communications; one of them is verbal, as we all know we listen and talk and this forms the basis of communication.
The seat of hearing is our ear. Our brain receives the signal and process the message when heard and uttered that's how we exchange information and conveyed in their respective language. A normal Child acquires various milestones by the age of one year (Neck Control, crawling, sitting, etc.……….) And an appropriate age for a child to acquire language is 2-5 years. Parents play an important role during the critical period of development. If a child is found missing any of these developmental milestones, he/she can be identified as 'At risk' and an Early intervention can be planned accordingly.
Our SLPs provide quality care bringing out the best from their clients by initiating and developing peer group interaction so that your child gains the maximum exposure of peer group interaction there by enabling your child to develop social skills, identification, discrimination and learn to imitate.
Your child's pragmatic skills are further honed as he/she ventures into developing concepts of turn-taking, role play and self -play. Children and Adolescents comprehend and apply new concepts such as following simple and complex commands in their daily life. At Rehaab Roots, our therapists provide one-on-one attention to the child and focus on improving his/her language.
Our aim is to make your child feel at home and grow in a comfortable space; thereby being nurtured in a play way manner and acquiring new skills at the same time.
